Hey everyone, nice job on your entries to the new blog! I'd like to start a new string that specifically focuses on our swimmers in college or the ones planning on swimming in college. This seems to be a nice theme to follow. I'd like to also see some more entries from our college swimmers who can tell us "what's new" in their life and swimming.
I'll start this out with an article I just read about Texas A&M women beating Texas with Alia Atkinson leading the way with a blazing 1:00.17 in the 100 breast and a new school record. That time would have placed her third in last years NCAA Div. I Championships. Way to go Alia! Hey, I can see it , but can you taste going under 1:00?
I also found out this week that Natasha Moodie is going to swim for the University of Michigan. Go Blue! Hey, Natasha....is it Great...to be...a Michigan Wolverine?
I know this isn't all inclusive of what is happening...so send a note and tell us!
Here's the article: http://www.collegeswimming.com/news/2006/nov/3/texas-m-women-174-texas-125/ |
